GU Ventures

GU Ventures aims to serve those who have a connection to the University of Gothenburg and who have an idea that you want to realize.

We offer a process to verify the idea commercially and develop them into viable businesses. We do this through our business development methodology, by funding, professional development, networking and industry contacts, where a business developer together with you sets the framework and work towards the goals.

Our goal is to exploit the creativity within the university by bringing it to the business world.

The verification work, Verification for Growth (VFT), is done in collaboration with the Research and Innovation Office at the University of Gothenburg on behalf of VINNOVA. A selection of the innovators are invited after successful authentication to continue working with GU Ventures, or are advised to think through their idea once more to or turn to other parties for further development that better fits their needs.
